For their first UK gig since frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg in June, Foo Fighters brought rock legends Roger Taylor and John Paul Jones onstage, forming what Grohl called a “superdupergroup”. With Taylor sitting behind the drum kit and Jones taking up keyboard duties, the crowd gathered at Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday 5th September – what would have been Freddie Mercury’s 69th birthday – were treated to a cover of Queen’s ‘Under Pressure’, with Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins re-enacting the famous Mercury/David Bowie vocal leads.
